Classroom Language (CL)
ภาษาในชั้นเรียน (CL) เป็นคำพูด (พูดภาษาอังกฤษเท่านั้น) ท่าทาง อารมณ์ และความรู้สึกที่ครูต้องแสดงออกควบคู่กันไปในชั้นเรียนต่อผู้เรียน เพื่อสื่อสารกันระหว่างครูต่อผู้เรียนเพื่อให้บรรลุผลบางประการ หรือให้เข้าใจร่วมกัน
ชนิดของ CL มีดังนี้
1. Greeting (การทักทาย)
2. Instruction (คำสั่ง)
3. Emotion (ความรู้สึก)
4. Requirement (ความต้องการ)
5. Compliment (การชมเชย)
6. Suggestion (การแนะนำ)
7. Sympathy (การเห็นอกเห็นใจ)
8. Discipline (การแก้ไขวินัย)
9. Interrogation (การซักถาม)
10. Respond (การตอบ)
11. Reinforcement(การเสริมแรง)
12. Apology (การขออภัย)
13. Reprehension (การตำหนิ) *ไม่ใช้กับโรงเรียนลำปลายมาศพัฒนา
14. Opinion (แสดงความคิดเห็น)
15. Mollification (การปลอบโยน)
It is very important that students try to use English as much as they can in class.
Here are some useful senteces that might help you out:

| Can you explain it once more, please? | What is the meaning of “_______”? | What does it mean? |

| Is is ok? Is it correct? | What is the opposite meaning of ” hot”? | Can you read the last sentence a little more slowly? |
| “Cold” is the opposite meaning of “hot”. | Would you mind speaking louder? | What page are we in? |
| It means the same thing. | What is another meaning for “big”? | “Large” is another meaning for “big”. |
To encourage students to speak only in English in the classroom, make sure they know simple transactional phrases that they can use to manage their interaction. Often these phrases come so naturally in the native language that it's difficult to break the habit. To help everyone learn and remember this, make a list of these phrases on the board (or put them on a poster for the classroom) and add additional similar phrases as the need arises.
